It's all I've been hearing lately. From friends and family to colleagues, and ya best belief my therapist; they all resonate the same message — don't play with peace of mind. Peace of mind is a weird thing. For me, it's weird for a lot of reasons.
You all know what I'm talking about. For whatever reason, there's that one song in your daily arsenal that, for lack of a better phrase, kicks your ass.
Sometimes you just need to write; write with no intent, no direction, no meaning. You write to write. To remind yourself you love writing. This is a post while in the midst of that feeling.
When it hits you, it hits you. That feeling; that fleeting thought of not being good enough. Of trying to view things in a different way, yet feeling the exact same. Being stuck, regressing; any motion other than progress is hard to process, hard to explain to others; simply hard.

Aah, self reflection: what a painfully beautiful process. Ot brings up demons that you didn't know existed before. It brings up the parts of your past you've been running from. It's not a simple task, but it's a necessary one.
